
Jack was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis at age four and underwent a colectomy at age seven. He now lives with a J-pouch and manages chronic pouchitis. He graduated from Williams College in 2024 and currently works as an ophthalmic technician and scribe in Brookline, Massachusetts. He has co-facilitated IBD support groups through IBD Connect, the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation and has also mentored pediatric and adult IBD patients one-on-one through the mentorship program at Connecting to Cure Crohn’s & Colitis. Jack is passionate about helping IBD patients translate their lived experience with IBD into connection, mentorship, and meaningful community impact.
